JWU Volleyball Dominant at Morris

Columbia, SC - The Johnson & Wales volleyball team put together a comprehensive performance at Morris College on Tuesday, winning in straight sets 25-8, 25-15, 25-17.

Lucy Herrmann finished with 13 kills for the Lady Wildcats (12-5) while Madison Steed chipped in with nine.

"This was a solid win for us, and we worked well together to get the job done," said Johnson & Wales head coach Callie Phillips.  "We look forward to seeing some opponents for the second time coming up later in the week."

Donna Harris led the way with 24 assists while Johmillet Berrios had 12 digs.

The team's upcoming match at Johnson C. Smith has been postponed to Oct. 18 at 7:00 p.m.  Johnson & Wales will play next on Thursday evening when they host John Wesley University.  Play is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. at the Wildcat Center.
