Box Score

Thomasville, N.C. - The USCAA #7 Johnson & Wales volleyball team put in a dominating performance on the road Thursday, defeating Davidson County Community College in straight sets by the scores of 25-15, 25-8, 25-23.

The Wildcats (14-11) received 11 kills from Toniya Scott, sweeping Davidson County for the second time this season.

"Lots of things came together for us tonight, and I was pleased with our poise," said head coach Callie Phillips.  "We were able to rotate some players and get some rest going into Homecoming Weekend while getting the win. This was some great work tonight from our team."

Moana Reid posted 22 assists on the night while Kendall Watson finished with 22 digs.  The team combined for 10 total blocks on the evening.

Johnson & Wales will host Toccoa Falls on Friday at the Wildcat Center as part of Homecoming Weekend.  Play is scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
