Box Score

Greensboro, N.C. - The USCAA #8 Johnson & Wales volleyball team fell in straight sets on Friday, losing at Guilford College 25-21, 25-12, 25-22.

The Wildcats (12-10) were led by Johmillet Berrios with 8 kills while Moana Reid finished with 14 assists.

"Guilford is a solid team, and they exposed some areas of improvement for us," said head coach Callie Phillips.  "Their style of ball is one that we need to develop and be able to compete with. This is a learning experience for us and will help prepare us for the future.  We had a good team trip and look forward to a couple of days off."

Kendall Watson led the Wildcats defense with 16 digs.

Johnson & Wales will resume play on Oct. 13 when it travels to Greenville, S.C., to play Bob Jones University.  Play is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
