Hankerson Dominant as Wildcats Win at Toccoa Falls

Toccoa, G.A. - Ineesha Hankerson finished with 21 points and nine rebounds as the Johnson & Wales women's basketball team won 83-39 at Toccoa Falls College on Tuesday.

The sophomore forward led the Wildcats (5-1) on 7-of-9 shooting, helping Johnson & Wales open a commanding 41-16 lead by halftime.

Bianca Covington and Jaquana Pauling also reached double digits for the Wildcats, finishing with 10 points each.

Johnson & Wales held their opponents to just 13-of-63 shooting on the night while forcing 27 turnovers.  The Wildcats also dominated the boards, winning the battle 60-38.

Toccoa Falls was led by Jordan Poole with 13 points.

The team will return to action on Sunday when it travels to Decatur, G.A., to play Agnes Scott College.  Tipoff is scheduled for 4:00 p.m.
