JWU Volleyball Loses 3-0 at NC Wesleyan

Rocky Mount, NC - The Johnson & Wales volleyball team fell in straight sets at North Carolina Wesleyan on Thursday, losing 25-11, 25-15, 26-24.

The Wildcats (4-7) were led by Johmillet Berrios with seven kills, but struggled to sustain an attack on the night.  The team combined for just 10 assists over the three sets and recorded 19 kills in total.

Kendall Watson posted 16 digs for Johnson & Wales, leading the defensive effort.

The team will resume play on Saturday when it travels to Winston-Salem, NC, to play a pair of matches against Agnes Scott and hosts Salem College.  Play is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., respectively.
