Charlotte, NC - The Johnson & Wales volleyball team concluded their 2021 home schedule on Tuesday night as they played host to Emory & Henry. The Wasps won a spirited match 3-0 to reach the .500 mark for the season.

Highlights:

• Emory & Henry is now 11-11 on the season, while JWU fell to 12-10.
• Emory & Henry won with set scores of 25-19, 25-18, and 29-27.
• Five graduating players appeared in their final home match for the Wildcats: Demya Scott, Isabelle Lemaster, Taylor Walker, Lynasia Felder, and Jazmine Richardson.
• Demya Scott led JWU with 11 kills, 6 digs, and a block assist.
• Emily Arends had 8 kills and 7 digs.
• Niecee Perofeta handed out 12 assists and collected 15 digs.
• Logan Smith tallied 11 assists and 7 digs.
• Lynasia Felder recorded 19 digs, while Taylor Walker had 1 solo block and 2 block assists.
