Misenheimer, NC - Johnson & Wales women's basketball team suffered their first loss of the season on Friday as they fell on the road at Pfeiffer 86-72.

How It Happened:

• The Wildcats fell behind 12-2 early in the first quarter, but rallied to take a brief 19-16 lead.
• Pfeiffer led by as many as 13 in the second quarter before settling for an 11 point halftime advantage.
• The Falcons scored the first six points of the 3rd quarter as their lead ballooned to 17.
• Pfeiffer's lead grew to as large as 22 before JWU trimmed the final margin to 14.
• JWU was without leading scorer Jordan McDuffie..

Key Stats:

• JWU recorded season highs in free throw attempts (41) and free throws made (24).
• Pfieffer made 14 more field goals than the Widlcats.
• Ke'Airra Gregory recorded her first collegiate double-double with 14 points and 14 rebounds.
• Jayla Lovett added 12 points and 8 rebounds.
• Karynton Clark came off the bench to score 12 points, grab 4 rebounds, and hand out 4 assists.
