Charlotte, NC - Johnson & Wales women's basketball team improved to 4-1 with a 70-52 win over Toccoa Falls on Tuesday night.

How It Happened:

• Toccoa Falls led 23-16 after the first quarter before being outscored 54-29 the rest of the game.
• The Wildcats took the lead for good with 3:10 left in the 3rd quarter.
• JWU had their second highest scoring quarter of the season in the 4th to pull away.

• Toccoa Falls made 9 field goals in the first quarter and then only made 9 field goals the rest of the game.
• The Wildcats forced 31 Screaming Eagle turnovers and converted those in 28 points.
• Tanaeschia Dorsey led all scorers with 27 points, including 8-9 at the free throw line.
• Jordan McDuffie came off the bench to score 13 points, grab 3 rebounds, hand out 3 assists, and collect 5 steals.
• Ke'Airra Gregory had 4 points and 10 rebounds.
