Spartanburg, SC - Johnson & Wales women's basketball team dropped their second road contest of the season in an 85-51 loss to Converse on Sunday afternoon.

How It Happened:

• JWU led 15-13 after the first quarter before being outscored 72-36 the rest of the game.
• The Valkyries limited JWU to only 10 points in the 2nd quarter, and only 7 points in the fourth.

• Converse made 8-16 three point shots, while JWU went only 1-17 from three.
• The Valkyries outrebounded the Wildcats 41-32.
• Converse converted 28 Wildcat turnovers into 40 points.
• Jordan McDuffie scored a team-high 17 points, and grabbed 7 rebounds.
• Jordan Durant had 10 points and 3 rebounds.
• Converse improves to 2-3, while JWU drops to 4-2 on the season.
