Charlotte, NC - Johnson & Wales held on down the stretch for a 68-67 win over Carolina University on Monday night.

Highlights:

• The Wildcats shot 40% from the field and outrebounded the Bruins 16-10 in building a 36-28 halftime lead
• Carolina outscored JWU 21-10 in the first nine minutes of the second period to take a 49-46 advantage.
• Deandre Williams converted a conventional three point play with 31 seconds to play to provide the eventual winning points.
• Zyrion Wilkins knocked away a Bruin pass on the final possession to preserve the win.
• JWU outrebounded the Bruins 31-28 on the evening.
• The Wildcats assisted on 13 of their 25 made field goals.
• Collin Irby led JWU with 13 points.
• Wilkins and Jaylen Dibble each scored 10 points. Dibble also added 7 assists.
• Brandon Summers tallied 8 points and 5 rebounds.
