Greenville, NC - Johnson & Wales defeated Toccoa Falls 76-68 on Friday evening, completing the season sweep of the Screaming Eagles.

How It Happened:

• Toccoa Falls jumped out to a 10-2 lead behind 7 points from Jaliyah Howard.
• The Wildcats answered with a 12-0 run of their own to grab a 4 point advantage with three minutes remaining in the opening period.
• Toccoa Falls rallied to tie the score at 17 after the first period.
• The Wildcats shot 50% from the field in the second stanza, compared to just 26% for the Screaming Eagles, allowing them to forge a 44-31 halftime lead.
• JWU's lead would reach as many as twenty at 55-35, before Toccoa Falls trimmed it to eleven, 63-52 after three quarters.
• Toccoa Falls got as close as six points on several occasions in the fourth, but JWU had an answer each time.
