Box Score 2 Lynchburg, VA - The Johnson & Wales Charlotte volleyball team dropped a pair of matches at the Lynchburg University tri-match on Saturday.
The Wildcats lost to Randolph College in three sets, 25-13, 25-23, 25-23.
Ahmarie Young led the Wildcats with 8 kills, while Emily Arends added 6 more. Niecee Perofeta and Logan Smith combined for 20 assists, while Mikayla Seymour-Tucker had 17 digs.
The second match saw host Lynchburg defeat JWU 25-18, 25-19, 27-25.
Aimee Evans had 9 kills, 3 digs, and 3 block assists. Young had 8 kills and 12 digs. Logan Smith dished out 15 assists, while Chanel Garcia added 16 digs.
JWU is next in action on Monday, October 10th as they travel to Toccoa Falls College for a tri-match against the host Eagles and Carolina University.
