- The Wildcats jumped out to a 22-11 lead after the first quarter as they shot 67% from the field (10-15) while Apprentice was just 3-11 from the field.
- Mariana Ballard made consecutive three pointers to open the second quarter as the JWU lead grew to as much as 20 before settling at 15, 42-27 at halftime.
- The Builders scored the first six points of the third quarter to briefly trim their deficit to 9.
- JWU outscored Apprentice 27-17 during the rest of the third quarter to take a 69-50 lead after 30 minutes.
- The Wildcats cruised from that point, eventually winning 91-69.
