How It Happened:
- Apprentice scored 9 of the first 11 points in the game, staking themselves to a 7 point lead in the game's first three minutes.
- The Wildcats responded with an 11-2 run over the next three and a half minutes, taking a 13-12 lead on Kevin Summers's layup.
- Back-to-back three pointers by Apprentice's Xavien Hunter and Corey Joyner put the Builders up 8 at 28-20 with five minutes left in the half.
- JWU finished the half on a 14-7 run to cut their deficit to one at the break, 35-34.
