Misenheimer, NC - The Johnson & Wales Charlotte volleyball team made the short trip to Misenheimer, NC to take on Pfieffer Tueday night. The Falcons prevailed 3-0.

How It Happened:

• Pfeiffer won the first 5 points of Set 1 en route to a 17-4 advantage before winning the set 25-14.
• The Wildcats led 5-4 in the second set when Pfieffer ran off seven straight points to take control of that stanza, eventually winning 25-16.
• JWU again battled during the first half of the thrid set, and led 11-9 at one point. Pfeiffer put together a 10-4 spurt that propelled them to a 25-17 set win, and a 3-0 match win.

Key Stats:

• Pfieffer hit .290 while JWU hit only .076.
• Emily Arends, Kaylee Atkins, and Ahmarie Young had 4 kills each.
• Niecee Perofeta had 9 assists, while Mikayla Seymour-Tucker added 9 digs.
• JWU falls to 9-7. Pfeiffer improves to 2-8.
