Bob Jones Bests Volleyball

Charlotte, NC - Visiting Bob Jones University defeated Johnson & Wales 3-1 on Thursday night.

The Bruins took charge early in the first set and cruised to a 25-15 win. Bob Jones again led throughout much of the early and middle portion of the second before the Wildcats rallied to take the lead and eventually finished off the set with a 25-23 win. The third set was a back and forth one until Bob Jones pulled away late for a 25-17 win. The Bruins finished off the match with a 10 point win, 25-15 in the fourth.

Ahmarie Young let the Wildcats with 13 kills and 20 digs. Aimee Evans hit .733 for the match, recording 11 kills. Niecee Perofeta and Logan Smith combined for 31 assists, while Mikayla Seymour-Tucker added 14 digs.

The Wildcats travel to Ferrum, VA for a tri-match against Ferrum and Shenandoah on Saturday, 9/24. Match times are 1:00 and 3:00pm.
