Volleyball Sweeps Caldwell CC

Hudson, NC - The Johnson & Wales Charlotte volleyball team snapped a 5 game skid Thursday night with a 3-0 win over Caldwell Community College.

The Wildcats cruised in the first two sets, winning 25-14 and 25-15. The Cobras pushed JWU in the third set, but the Wildcats still prevailed 25-21.

Shayla Pope led the Wildcats with 8 kills, while Emily Arends added 5 kills. Logan Smith tallied 11 assists, and Ahmarie Young recorded 22 digs. 

JWU's weekend home tri-match has been canceled, so they will next be in action on Tuesday, Oct. 4th as they travel to Bob Jones for a 7pm match.
