Wildcats Cruise To Third Straight Win

Charlotte, NC - The Johnson & Wales Charlotte women's basketball team improved to a season-best five games over .500 with an 67-40 win over Berkeley (NY) on Sunday afternoon.

How It Happened:
  • The Wildcats grabbed a ten point lead after the first quarter, paced by 7 points from Jordan Durant
  • JWU's defense took control in the second period, holding the Knights to just 1-12 from the field, and forcing Berkeley into 10 turnovers. 
  • The third quarter saw the Wildcats extend their lead to 27, and they stood pat in the final ten minutes.

  • JWU went 19-24 at the free throw line for the second consecutive game.
  • The Wildcats forced 31 Knights' turnovers.
