How It Happened:
- The 10th ranked Wildcats jumped out to an 8-4 lead, scoring on four of their first five possessions.
- 13th ranked Berkeley responded with a 15-0 run over the next four minutes to open up an eleven point advantage.
- JWU whittled away at the Knight lead, getting within two at 23-31 on an Anthoney Ray three pointer at the 8:19 mark of the first half.
- Berkeley regained control of the game, pushing their lead to as many as 8 before settling for a 44-39 halftime advantage.
- The Knights extended their lead to nine in the first minutes of the second half, and maintained that lead for the next fourteen minutes.
