Swannanoa, NC - Johnson & Wales defeated Warren Wilson 5-2 on Wednesday afternoon, extending their unbeaten streak to 15 games. 

Eugenio de la Parra Polina curled a left-footed free kick around the Warren Wilson defensive wall just 52 seconds into the match to put the Wildcats in front. Peter Agelis doubled the JWU advantage 11 minutes later when he pounced on a loose ball right in front of the Owl goal and knocked it home. Warren Wilson pulled one back in the 27th minute and went to the halftime break trailing 2-1.

Ahmed Ghosheh restored the two goal advantage when he headed home a corner kick ten minutes into the second half. Jacobo Arias added a fourth just over a minute later. Warren Wilson scored a second goal from a corner before Antonino Terranova closed the scoring with seven minutes to play.

JWU outshot Warren Wilson 29-5, and earned 11 corners to Warren Wilson's four.

Colin Starr made three saves on the afternoon.

The Wildcats return home on Saturday, October 7th when they host Patrick & Henry Community College at 6:00pm.
