Box Score Charlotte, NC - Asbury University put four players in double-figures as they defeated Johnson & Wales Charlotte 100-67 on Friday night.
The Wildcats led by three points after one period of play before seeing Asbury dominate the second quarter by a 38-11 count. The Eagles made 4 three pointers in the stanza, as they shot 14-24 in the period. JWU couldn't keep pace, sinking just 3 of 14 attempts, and committing 8 turnovers. The Wildcats were unable to cut into the Eagles' advantage in the second half, as Asbury pulled away. The Eagles outrebounded the Wildcats by 13, and forced 20 JWU miscues.
Tanaeschia Dorsey led the Wildcats with 19 points, while Joyiah White posted a double-double with 15 points and 13 rebounds.
