Box Score Swannanoa, NC - Johnson & Wales Charlotte women's basketball picked up their fourth road win in seven tries with an 84-62 triumph over Warren Wilson on Monday night.
The Wildcats used twin 26 point quarters to build a 52-30 halftime advantage. JWU hit six three pointers in the first 20 minutes and had five players with 8 or more points by the break. The Owls briefly cut the lead to 15 early in the third quarter before seeing JWU balloon the lead to 30, 70-40 at the end of the period. The Wildcats cruised home from that point, winning by 22.
Jordan Durant led the charge with 21 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists. Jayla Lovett and Tanaeschia Dorsey added 19 each, while Sydney Wells and Joyiah White combined for 20 points and 8 boards.
The Wildcats are next in action on Thursday, Feb. 9th as they travel to Morris College for a 5:30pm tipoff.
