Ferrum, VA - The Johnson & Wales Charlotte volleyball team fell in straight sets to Ferrum and Virginia Union on Saturday.
The Wildcats lost 25-17, 25-15, and 27-25 to Ferrum in the first match.
Aimee Evans and
Kaylee Atkins led the attack with 8 kills each.
Logan Smith handed out 20 assists, while
Sage Franzel and Atkins combined for 14 digs.
The second match saw Virginia Union best JWU 25-17, 25-17, and 25-18. Evans and Smith combined for 10 kills and 10 assists.
JaMia McCoy led the team with 7 digs in the match.
JWU is next in action on Tuesday, September 20th when they play host to Bob Jones at 6:00pm.
