Pineville, NC - Johnson & Wales Charlotte women's soccer posted their second consecutive shutout, defeating Carolina Christian 4-0 on Tuesday afternoon.
Azalianna Absalom scored her team leading seventh goal of the season to post the Wildcats to a 1-0 lead fourteen minutes into the first half.
Katie Douglas doubled the JWU advantage eleven minutes later when
Brianna Ramos found her open in the middle of the field from where Douglas subsequently beat Centurion keeper Gaby Echeverri.
Freshmen
Hannah Greene and
Jess Garman scored second half goals that padded the JWU lead. The Wildcat defense held the Centurions without a shot on target across the ninety minutes.
Johnson & Wales plays host to top ranked Christendom College on Saturday, October 12th. Game time is 1:00pm.
