Charlotte, NC - Johnson & Wales Charlotte defeated Bob Jones 84-65 for their third straight win on Monday night.
The Wildcats never trailed in the game thanks in large part to connecting on eight of their sixteen 3 point attempts in the first half. JWU shot a sizzling 57.1% from the field, and assisted on 11 of 16 field goals in the first half as they built a 40-32 lead.
Bob Jones never got closer than seven points in the second half as the Wildcats pulled away to win by 19.
Five Wildcats scored in double figures, led by 20 points from
Nathan Meshida.
Nantambu Calhoun had 17 points on the strength of 5 of 10 from three point range.
Jaylen Benson-Hollinhead scored 14 points and grabbed 11 rebounds.
Ethan Smith had 12, while
Malcolm Warthen came off the bench to score 10.
