Volleyball Splits Home Doubleheader

Charlotte, N.C. - The Johnson & Wales Charlotte volleyball team went 1-1 in two matches on Friday afternoon.

The Wildcats dropped their morning match to Guilford 3-0, but rebounded to down Trinity College of Jacksonville 3-0 in the afternoon contest.

Guilford won by scores of 25-19, 25-12, 25-17.

Jordan Mann, Marion Bataoel, and Erica Rawlings each had 5 kills. Madison Leslie handed out 12 assists, while Chanel Garcia added 12 digs.

JWU defeated Trinity College of Jacksonville 25-16, 25-20, and 25-16.

Bataoel had 9 kills to go along with 3 service aces. Rawlings added 6 kills, 3 solo blocks and 1 block assist. Leslie tallied 18 assists.

The Wildcats return home on Tuesday, October 14th when they host Allen University at 7pm.
