Charlotte, N.C. - Johnson & Wales Charlotte defeated Toccoa Falls 77-36 in women's basketball on Tuesday evening.
The Wildcats used a 15-2 run to open the third quarter, ballooning their lead to twenty one points and never looked back. JWU outscored Toccoa Falls 48-15 in the second half as the Wildcats shot 47% from the field and forced 15 Screaming Eagle miscues.Â
Twelve JWU players scored in the game, led by
Laylah Toscano's 18 points. She also grabbed 10 rebounds.
Kyrah Davis scored 14 points and pulled down 9 boards.
Maliah Preston handed out 7 assists.
The Wildcats next travel to Rock Hill, S.C. on December 3rd to take on Winthrop. Game time is 6:00pm.
