Virginia Beach, Va. - Regent University defeated Johnson & Wales Charlotte 104-86 in men's basketball on Saturday afternoon.
The Royals scored 55 first half points to lead by twelve at the break. Regent shot 52.5% from the field in the first twenty minutes and outrebounded the Wildcats by thirty on the afternoon. The Wildcats tried to stay in it by making eleven 3 pointers and forcing 15 Royals turnovers.
Cooper Wiley led the Wildcats with 20 points and 9 rebounds.
