Swannanoa, N.C. - Johnson & Wales Charlotte defeated Warren Wilson 75-47 in women's basketball on Saturday afternoon.

The Wildcats outscored the Owls 15-6 in the second quarter to take a 34-21 lead at the half and pulled away in the second twenty minutes for the 28 point win. JWU outrebounded Warren Wilson 59-41 and forced 32 turnovers. 

Laylah Toscano posted her thirteenth double-double of the season as she scored 17 points and grabbed 19 rebounds. Laken Powe also had a double-double, making 8 of her 13 field goal attempts for 16 points to go along with 15 rebounds.

JWU is next in action at the Coast-To-Coast Conference tournament on Friday, February 27th. They earned the #2 seed and will play the winner of the quarterfinal game between #3 Salisbury and #6 Regent.
