Charlotte, N.C. - Kaylee Belcher has signed with JWU Charlotte Softball, becoming the twelveth member of the 2026 recruiting class.

Belcher is a recent graduate of Legion Collegiate Academy in Rock Hill S.C. She was a three year member of the Lancers' varsity softball team. She hit .350 during her senior season, scoring 15 runs and driving in 8 more. She plays club softball for Elite 9 - Thomas.

Belcher is the daughter of Jennifer and Gary Belcher, and plans to major in Health Science at Johnson & Wales. When asked why she decided to become a Wildcat, Belcher replied, "I chose JWU because of the atmosphere. The involvement of the students makes it feel like a tight-knit community." She was a Beta Club member at LCA.

"I am so excited to join the team this coming year," continued Belcher. "I also can't wait to meet and get to know all of the girls!" Belcher's versatile style of play will make her an important addition for the Wildcats. She has fun on the field, but displays the gritty, focused attitude that great players possess.
