Ken Dixon is excited to announce the signing of
Jack Shea as the first member of the Wildcats' 2026 recruiting class.
Shea comes to Third Ward after spending the previous two seasons at Chaminade University of Honolulu. Shea logged six rounds for the Silverswords in 2025-26, averaging 87.5. He competed in two rounds during his freshman season in 2024-25, averaging 83.5. He graduated from Bishop Stang High School in North Dartmouth, Mass. in 2024. He was a standout for the Spartans, earning All-Star Team accolades from the New Bedford Standard Times, the Herald News and the South Coast Conference.
Shea is the son of Loryn and Brian Shea and plans to major in Business Administration at Johnson & Wales. When asked why he chose to attend JWU, he listed the location and program resources as his top reasons.Â
Coach Dixon feels that Shea will provide needed experience for a young team. "Jack comes to JWU with college golf experience that will enhance our team's desire to win."
