Johnson City, Tenn. - The Johnson & Wales golf teams continued their Fall schedule by participating in the East Tennessee Collegiate, hosted by Milligan University, at the Johnson City Country Club on Monday and Tuesday.
The Wildcat women placed third with a two round total of 420-422-842.
Kirstan Hodges shot rounds of 83-82-165 to finish tied for fifth. She was named to the All-Tournament Team.
Abigail Herrington finished 11th after rounds of 96-96-192.
Nellie Brewer (108-108-216/18th) and Gray Smith (133-136-269/19th) were the other two counting scores for JWU.
The JWU men finised tied for 12th after rounds of 313-311-624.
Garrett Hartley (76-80) and
Jack Shea (78-78) finished in a group tied for 55th at 156.
Logan Garrison moved up eleven positions on the leaderboard in round two to finish tied for 58th after rounds of 82-75-157.
Caleb Seremet (77-83-160/t-65) and
Jake Weerts (83-78-161/68th) each contributed one counting score.
The men are next in action on October 5th and 6th as they take part in the Richard Rendleman Invitational at The Country Club of Salisbury in Salisbury, N.C. The women next play at the Pioneers Invitational at Cherokee National Golf and Recreation Club in Gaffney, S.C.
