Raleigh, N.C. - Johnson & Wales fell in a pair of matches at the Raleigh Invitational on Saturday.
Saturday's first match saw Maryville down JWUÂ by scores of 25-23, 25-17, and 25-22.
Jordan Mann had ten kills to pace JWU.
Madison Leslie had 13 assists and
Jasmine Sullivan-Thompson tied
Aiyanna McKinnon for the team high in digs with five.
Host Meredith then downed JWU 25-20, 26-24, 23-25, and 25-14 in the afternoon wrap up match.
Taylor Green and
Kalin Lincoln each recorded 11 kills, while
Loshi Ward added 20 helpers.
Aiyanna McKinnon led the defensive effort with 19 digs.
JWU next travels to Roanoke on Tuesday, September 15th for a 6:00pm match.
