Charlotte, N.C. - Visiting Randolph College defeated Johnson & Wales Charlotte 3-0 in volleyball on Tuesday night.
The Wildcats built an 11-5 lead in the first set only to see Randolph rally to win the stanza 25-17. JWU trailed 23-17 in the second before closing the gap to just three at 24-21 but could get no closer as Randolph finished off the set 25-21. The visiting WildCats then cruised 25-12 in the third.
Jordan Mann paced JWU with 7 kills, while
Marion Bataoel added 5.
Madison Leslie and
Loshi Ward combined for 18 assists.
Aiyanna McKinnon had a team-high 10 digs.
JWU is back at home on Thursday, September 3rd when they welcome Johnson C. Smith for a 6pm match.
