Monarchs Slip Past Women's Soccer

Pineville, N.C. - Methodist defeated Johnson & Wales 1-0 in women's soccer on Sunday afternoon.

Anna Wiggins's seventy-eighth minute goal was the only thing that separated the two teams. Methodist had 12 shots to JWU's 7, and earned 7 corner kicks to 2 for the Wildcats. Olivia Kieffer had two shots on goal. Zoe Balmer made 7 saves in goal.

The Widcats return home on Thursday, October 1st, when they welcome Brevard for a 4:30pm kickoff.
