He was able to successfully implement mechanical adjustments as well as tactical changes optimizing the success of the players. Along with Coach Padgett, they were able to win the MAC Tournament in 2011 and 2012, as well as send a doubles team in 2013 to the NCAA tournament. Player Development continued with the Zips during the next several seasons with Ariadna Blinova winning MAC Player of the Year in 2016 after moving up several spots in the lineup from the season prior. This success was complemented in the 2017/19 seasons with Sophia Geier winning 2 MAC player of the year honors in both the regular season and tournament achieving the 2nd total combined wins total in school history. Peters was the Head Women’s Tennis Coach at UA during the 2019-20 season which went unfinished due to Covid-19.
