Lindsay comes to Johnson & Wales from Daphne, Alabama, where she served as an patrol officer for the Daphne Police Department for the last three years. She was also certified by the State of Alabama to administer polygraph examinations for criminal cases and pre-employment screenings.

She was a Graduate Assistant Tennis Coach at Berry College from 2016-2018. She assisted the head coach with practice planning, recruiting, scheduling, skill development, and match administration. She earned a Master's in Business Administration from Berry in 2018. Prior to her tenure at Berry, she served as the Head Girls' Tennis Coach at Gray Stone Day School in Misenheimer, NC from 2015 to 2016. She managed all aspects of the girls' tennis program at Grey Stone Day School including leading practices, establishing line ups, and developing schedules.
"I feel very blessed to be given this opportunity," remarked Lindsay when asked about her new position. "I am excited to build a first class tennis program here at Johnson & Wales. I am thankful for Trudi giving me this opportunity to start the program."

Lindsay was a standout player at Pfeiffer University from 2011 - 2015. She earned Conference Carolinas Third Team All-Conference honors following her freshman season in 2012. She earned First Team All-Conference accolades in both 2013 and 2015, and added Conference Carolinas All-Tournament Team selections in both 2014 and 2015. She capped off her senior season by helping the Falcons to the 2015 Conference Carolinas Championship and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
Athletic Director Trudi Lacey thinks Lindsay is the perfect person to start the tennis program. "I am very pleased to have Taylor join us as our new head tennis coach. Her competitive nature, energy and personality will help jump start our program and set the tone for future success."
