Maya Palmer joined the women's soccer coaching staff in the Fall of 2024.

She was a three time All-League player at Williamsville North High School in Williamsville, NY. She earned All-State 1st Team honors and was named All-Western New York Player of the Year in 2017. 

Palmer went on to play collegiately at Old Dominion where she made 17 appearances over two seasons with the Monarchs. She was a Conference USA Honor Roll selection, and also received the Commissioner's Medal. She transferred to Canisus for her final two years of undergraduate studies, playing in 19 total matches across the two years, starting 17 of them. She was named to the All-MAAC Academic Team in 2021.

She earned her undergraduate degree in Sports Administration from Canisus and then opted to use her final year of eligibility as a graduate student at St. Bonaventure. Palmer started all 17 games for the Bonnies in 2022, playing a total of 1,506 minutes during the season. She played the full 90 minutes in 15 of the 17 games, anchoring a St. Bonaventure defense that posted four shutouts. She again excelled in the classrooom, earning Atlantic 10 Commissioner's Honor Roll honors.
