Box Score Pineville, N.C. - A dominant performance from Danielle Doyle set the tone as the USCAA #5 Johnson & Wales women's soccer team won 7-0 over USC-Lancaster at the OrthoCarolina Sportsplex on Tuesday.
Doyle finished with a career high five goals and an assist for the Wildcats (8-3), lifting her side to a fourth straight victory.
The junior midfielder assisted Lana Truese's opener in the ninth minute before scoring in the 13th, 14th, and 32nd minutes to spot Johnson & Wales a 4-0 halftime advantage.
Jaeden Smith added a goal of her own in the 52nd minute, while Doyle would complete the route with two quick goals, both coming in the 72nd minute of play.
The Wildcats outshot USC-Lancaster 24-2. Kylie Priddy and Jordann Kinkin combined in goal for the clean sheet, with Kinkin forced to make a pair of saves for the hosts.
Johnson & Wales will resume play on Friday when it hosts USCAA #15 Christendom College at the OrthoCarolina Sportsplex. Kickoff is scheduled for 2:15 p.m.
