Doyle Powers JWU past Washington Adventist

Pineville, NC - Danielle Doyle recorded her fourth career hat trick as Johnson & Wales defeated Washington Adventist in USCAA soccer action at OrthoCarolina Sportsplex on Saturday night.

The Central Islip, NY junior also had a hand in the other JWU goal, as Sade McMullen ran onto a Doyle free kick and slotted it past WAU keeper Laura Perez for her first collegiate goal. Lana Truese assisted on two of the Doyle tallies.

Goalkeepers Kylie Priddy (4-1) saved 4 of the 5 Shock shots that were on target, while Perez (2-6) recorded seven saves.

The Wildcats begin a four game road swing on Tuesday, September 26th, as they travel to Raleigh, NC to take on Meredith College at 6pm.
