Wildcats Shut Out At Brevard

Box Score

Brevard, NC - Johnson & Wales women's soccer saw their season-best four game unbeaten streak snapped at Brevard on Wednesday night. The host Tornados made an eighth minute goal stand up in a 1-0 win.

The Wildcats (5-6-2) struggled to generate any offense in the match, registering a lone shot on the evening. JWU's defense did it's part, as Brevard (7-6-3) fired off 24 shots themselves, but only Abbie Worsencroft's header off of a corner kick found its way past Leah Bragaw, who made 11 saves in the game.

JWU is next in action on Wednesday, October 27th as they play host to NC Wesleyan for a 5:30pm kickoff.
