Box Score Swannanoa, NC - The Johnson & Wales Charlotte men's soccer team snapped a two game skid with a 4-0 win over Warren Wilson on Saturday afternoon.
Yomar Peguero open the scoring in the 33rd minute when he pounced on a rebounded Diaje' Hart shot and tucked it into an empty net.
Four minutes into the second half, Arsenio Di Donna doubled the Wildcat lead as he back heel flicked a Hart corner kick past Owl goalkeeper Parker Davis. Not 120 seconds later Josiah Davis put the game out of reach as he found the back of the net for his sixth goal of the season.
Luke Scholes capped the scoring in the 78th minute when Lucas Lesh found him open on the right wing and he fired the ball into the lower left corner. Scholes became the third Wildcat to score their first collegiate goal on the afternoon, joining Peguero and Di Donna.
JWU improves to 5-3-3, while Warren Wilson falls to 1-8-1.
The Wildcats next travel to Brevard on Wednesday, October 5th for a 7pm kickoff.
