Box Score Pineville, NC - Johnson & Wales Charlotte women's soccer played to a 2-2 draw with visiting Brevard on Tuesday night.
How It Happened:
- The Wildcats got on the board first in the 28th minute when Katie Douglas found a wide open Trinity Knauf 30 yards from goal. Knauf fired a perfect shot that went over the outstretched arms of Tornado keeper Mackenzie Lozano and just under the crossbar.
- Lauren Burch doubled the JWU lead five minutes after halftime when she picked off an errant Brevard pass and slotted a shot past Lozano
- Brevard's Taylor Richardson pulled one back three minutes later when she dribbled through three JWU defenders and then beat Leah Bragaw to the far post from the top of the 18 yard box.
- The Tornados even things up with three minutes to play on an Abby Meyer goal.
