Box Score Pineville, NC - The Johnson & Wales Charlotte men's soccer team picked up their second straight win with a 2-0 shutout of William Peace on Saturday afternoon.
Billy Esparza-Diaz scored from about 30 yards out on the left side in the 20th minute to put the Wildcats ahead. Diaje' Hart added another in the 60th minute when he picked up a rebound in front of goal and knocked it home.
The Wildcat defense did it's job, keeping the Pacers off the scoresheet despite outshooting JWU 14-11. Benjamin Burger made 6 saves to pick up his first collegiate clean sheet.
Josiah Davis joined Esparza-Diaz and Hart in tallying multiple shots on the afternoon for the Wildcats.
JWU continues their four game homestand on Tuesday, 9/20 when they welcome Methodist for a 7pm kickoff.
