Box Score Pineville, NC - The Johnson & Wales Charlotte women's soccer team fell 2-1 to Greensboro College on Sunday afternoon.
The Pride scored twice in a four minute span in the first half on goals by Hannah McCarthy and Jamayia Brown to take a 2-0 lead into the halftime break. After being held without a shot in the first half, the Wildcats stepped up the offensive pace in the second. They recorded four shots, the last of which Jayden Price turned home past Pride goalkeeper Lindsay Fox to bring the Wildcats within a lone goal, but JWU was unable to find an equlizer in the final five minutes.
Price had two shots, while Lauren Burch and Katie Douglas had the other two. Leah Bragaw made 6 saves.
The Wildcats return home to host Guilford on Tuesday, September 27th at 7:00pm.
