Greenville, SC - Johnson & Wales Charlotte fell to host Bob Jones University 79-66 on Saturday afternoon.
The Wildcats trailed by as many as 8 in the first half, but rallied to tie the score with a minutes left in the period, and went to the locker room trailing by just three. JWU shot 50% from the field and 89% at the free throw line.
JWU scored the first five points of the second period to take a brief two point advantage. It would be their last lead of the game as the Wildcats struggled from the field in the final twenty minutes. JWU made just 12 of 33 shot attempts, including 2 of 11 from the three point line. The WIldcats were able to stay within striking distance until the final five minutes due to the fact that they outrebounded the Bruins by four, and committed just eight turnovers, a season-low.

Jaylen Benson-Hollinhead led the Wildcats with 20 points and 11 rebounds.
Cameron Lawson came off the bench to score 14.
