How it happened:
- Taylor and Jordan Durant made a trio of three pointers to open the game for JWU as they edged ahead 15-10 after one period.
- The Wildcat defense put the clamps on the Royals in the second quarter, allowing just 4 points to the visitors on 2 of 16 shooting, and forcing 7 turnovers.
- JWU scored 20 points themselves, and headed to the halftime break leading by 21.
- Taylor made three more trifectas in the third quarter, as she set the school record for most three pointers without a miss (7) and tied the record for most three pointers in a game.
- Regent was again held to just 6 points in the stanza, committing 9 turnovers.
