Pineville, NC - Visiting Agnes Scott forged a 1-1 tie with host Johnson & Wales on a rainy Sunday afternoon.

The Wildcats saw the visitors move ahead early when Isabel Masawi hit a perfect shot from 25 yards away that found the far upper corner of the Wildcat goal. It was the only shot of the afternoon for the Scotties, who conceded 12 to the Wildcats.

JWU drew level in the twenty second minute when Taylor Witherspoon scored her fourth goal of the weekend off a free kick from Jessica Ralph.

The Wildcats tried desperately for a winning goal in the game's late stages, but efforts by Mia Townson, Elizabeth Parsells, and Savannah Weekes were off the mark.

JWU returns home on Tuesday, September 19th to host Salem College at 6pm.
