Pineville, NC - Ninety minutes was not enough to decide a winner between Salem and Johnson & Wales on Tuesday night, as the two teams played to a scoreless draw.

The Wildcats controlled possession in each half, outshooting the Spirits 20-5 on the game, but could not find a finishing shot in the final third of the field. The Salem goalkeeping duo of Marissa Doutrich and Mireya Sanchez combined to make 6 saves, while their Wildcat counterpart, Zoe Balmer kept a clean sheet with 3 saves. Katie Douglas paced JWU with 6 shots, while Emily Spies and Azalianna Absalom added 3 each.

JWU is next in action on Saturday, September 23rd when they travel to Greensboro College for a 12pm kickoff.
