Greensboro Scores Twice In Second Half To Knock Off Women's Soccer

Box Score Greensboro, NC - The Johnson & Wales Charlotte women's soccer team dropped a 3-1 decision at Greensboro College on Saturday afternoon.

The host Pride jumped out in front in the twenty-first minute on a goal by Abby Romanisko. JWU answered nine minutes later as Katie Douglas scored unassisted. 

Romanisko scored again in the sixty-eighth minute, providing what would be the eventual game winner as Amery Skinner added an insurance tally with fifteen minutes to play.

The Pride outshot JWU 16-9. and earned 7 corner kicks to just 4 for the Wildcats. Douglas led the Wildcats with 5 shots, 4 of which were on target. Zoe Balmer made 4 saves in net.

JWU is next in action on Tuesday, September 26th when they travel to Warren Wilson for a 5pm match.
